The focus of Rocky Nook's publishing business is on Digital Photography. However, other areas related to modern photography, such as imaging and computer technology, are equally important to us.
Rocky Nook's mission is to publish books on those leading-edge developments in photography and imaging that really matter, to filter out the marketing noise often associated with them, and to focus on their practical use in the photographic workflow. The ultimate goal of all that is image quality.
Our books are written by photographers having a substantial amount of experience and deep technical understanding of the subject matter. Although our books will cover technology to a large extent, our mission goes beyond technology, promoting its use to support creativity, and to improve the quality and efficiency of photographic work.
