Résumé
Leadership is a hot topic. Yet students find that while the literature is plentiful, it is also fragmented. Theory and Practice of Leadership provides a critical review of the major theories and current practice in this area, and lays out a clear understanding of leadership that integrates the disparate approaches and theories in a new model.
Throughout the book, Roger Gill uses illustrative examples and case studies drawn from across the globe that will enable both students and those in leadership positions to appreciate the theories and best practice in relation to real-life scenarios and their own experience.
If you need a clear and comprehensive overview of leadership theory and practice, this is the book for you. Accessible language and layout make it a must-have for postgraduate students pursuing an MBA programme and/or courses in leadership, business management, organizational behaviour, HRM and organizational strategy.
