Jeffrey Garbus is an experienced SQL Server consultant and the CEO of Soaring Eagle Consulting, Ltd. He has spoken at user conferences, and has written many magazine articles. His books on SQL and databases include Learn SQL Server 7.0 Administration.
L'auteur - Kevin Vandever
is cofourider of NexSource, Inc., a consulting and
training firm based in Chicago. His career in IT began
in
1984 on the IBM S/34. Since then, he has programmed in RPG
11, 111, and IV on the S/36, S/38, and AS/400 in a variety
of business application environments. He embarked on a solo
tour in 1993 as an independent contractor and launched
NexSource in 1997. Kevin is a frequent speaker at COMMON
and a regular contributor to Midrange Computing magazine.
He also writes the monthly column Black Box for AS1400
Technology SHOWCASE. To offset his technology-based life,
he studies philosophy through the University of North
Carolina at Chapel Hill. He now has the ability to
contemplate as well as arialyze, which provides him balance
but drives his family nuts.
