Résumé

Visual Basic is the most popular programming language in the world, and it has a lot to offer aspiring game programmers. This book is an aggressive guide to programming games with Visual Basic and is geared for every skill level. Beginners will be able to follow the topics in early chapters and learn game programming in preparation for increasingly more complicated subjects through the rest of the book. Experienced programmers will find coverage of multiplayer programming, the development of a Visual Basic game library, and solid coverage of DirectX 8.0. This hands-on book covers the entire programming spectrum from beginning to advanced topics--with an emphasis on games!
