Résumé
Change management is becoming part of the basic kit-bag of
leadership and management within all organizations. But
managing change is fraught with power plays and potential
disasters, not the least of which is the negative financial
impact on the company. Change by Design equips every
manager to direct change successfully and to emerge from
change initiatives victorious and unscathed. Providing a
proven roadmap to navigate the process in a speedy and
systematic way, the book offers practical advice for
managers, including: obtaining a mandate, planning change,
implementation, heading off the ambitious and the ruthless,
maintaining support, and much more. Coverage also includes:
creating the change management team, building the business
case and budget for change, sequencing actions for maximum
success, identifying appropriate tools and techniques, and
measuring success.
